Flying from Savannah to Boston every weekend for two months to help my sister with her upcoming wedding would be fine if it weren't for the obnoxious airplane guy. He has a job in Savannah for a few months and flies home to Boston every weekend, so he's always on my flights.
Even that might be tolerable if he didn't always choose the seat right beside me. But he won't move, and neither will I. So now we're stuck. Side by side for flight after flight.
After flight.
So what if he's kind of attractive? And softer than he pretends? His life is in Boston, and mine is not. His career is his priority, and the happy, secure world I've worked hard to build for myself in Savannah is mine.
So he's still the obnoxious airplane guy to me, and no matter how often our paths might cross, that's all he can ever be.
